Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Pixel Multimedia collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain, because you should be able to read it in a few minutes.

The short version

  • We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical logs every web server keeps.
  • This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics.
  • We never sell your information, and we only share it with services we need to run our business.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@pixel-multimedia.com.

01Who we are

Pixel Multimedia ("we", "us", "our") is a website development and creative graphics studio. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at any time at hello@pixel-multimedia.com.

02Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form or the booking calendar on this website, email us, or join a call, we collect what you choose to share. That usually includes:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company website, if you add it
  • The service and package you are interested in
  • Anything you write in your message
  • The date, time, and time zone of any call you book

Information from client projects. If you become a client, we also handle the content, images, brand files, and account access you provide so we can deliver your project, plus billing details such as your business name, address, and payment records.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting server records basic technical logs when a page is visited, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the website secure and working.

03How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or plan
  • To deliver, support, and maintain the services you buy from us
  • To send invoices, keep accounting records, and meet legal obligations
  • To keep this website and our systems secure, including blocking spam and abuse
  • To improve our services, using feedback you give us

We do not use your information for automated decision making, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you clearly ask us to.

04Legal basis for using your information

Where privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Taking steps before a contract, and performing a contract: answering your enquiry and delivering your project.
  • Legitimate interests: running and securing our website and business, for example keeping server logs and blocking spam.
  • Legal obligation: keeping invoices and financial records.
  • Consent: anything optional you agree to, which you can withdraw at any time.

05Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or other tracking tools. We do not build profiles of visitors. Our booking calendar is built into this website and talks to Cal.com from our server, so no Cal.com code or cookies load in your browser.

To display our typefaces, pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When that happens, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. You can read how Google handles this in the Google Privacy Policy.

If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

06Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

  • Our web hosting and email provider, which stores this website, its server logs, and the emails you send us.
  • Cal.com and our calendar and video provider, when you book a call. Your name, email, chosen time, time zone, and notes are sent from our server to Cal.com, which creates the booking, adds it to our calendar, creates the video call link, and sends you confirmation and reminder emails. See the Cal.com Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Business tools we use for email, files, invoicing, and accounting.
  • Platforms you choose for your project, such as Shopify, WooCommerce hosting, or payment providers, when we set them up on your behalf.
  • Professional advisers or authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

07International transfers

We work with clients around the world, so your information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected, for example by using reputable providers with appropriate safeguards in place.

08How long we keep information

  • Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 24 months, so we have context if you come back to us, then deleted.
  • Client project records: for the length of our work together, then as long as needed for support, warranty questions, and legal or accounting requirements.
  • Server logs: kept for a short period set by our hosting provider, usually a few weeks.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we need to keep it by law.

09How we protect information

We use secure, encrypted connections for this website, strong passwords and access controls on our accounts, and reputable providers for hosting and email. Account logins you share for a project are only used for that project, and we recommend you change them once the work is complete. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
  • Receive your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent you have given

To make a request, email hello@pixel-multimedia.com. We will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

11Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on this website.

14Contact us
